There’s this guy that I really like, maybe love.
But we were talking for awhile.
One day, he told me that he doesn’t think we should date. He said he liked me, but he doesn’t want him and my brother’s friendship to be ruined, even though it wouldn’t. Is there a way I can get him back? (other than simply telling him it wouldn’t be ruined)

He breaks up with me over the smallest things, then 3 months later we’re back together. We just split up again ’cause he says I’m smothering him and he needs his space. I really love him, what should I do to get him back?

I’ve been dating him for eight months and his mom only likes girls that kiss her ass and do everything she says but i definitely don’t do that. Plus i’m a tomboy and she only likes girly girls. Every time i go out to his games, she always brings like three of the girls he used to date and makes him talk to them before coming to me and every time we’re together she’s always calling or his ex’s are calling and they still ask him to go places even though they know he’s with me. Everything is really aggravating but i really think i could spend the rest of my life with him and i don’t want to end our relationship with him b/c of her. I’m trying to ignore it, but i’m not that kind of person. He doesn’t want me to say anything, but i don’t know hoe much longer i can last. What should i do?

About 2 months ago my ex (we were still together) started acting mega weird…at first i overlooked it, then it really started getting to me so i gave him his stuff back and broke up with him…(something i did all the time, probably just wanting attention), anyway, everything was fine, until a few days later, he just quit talking to me altogether…he was supposed to come to my house and he never came…i started panicking and called and texted so many times (like over 100 i’d say) he never answered. i found out from other people that we were broken up…so we didn’t talk for like a month then, he started texting me and i just ignored them…he’d say hey, and i’ve heard you were talking to this guy and all kinds of other stuff that i never responded to (i thought it would be better)…anyway…one day i really wanted to talk to him so i responded to his text and we started talking…i was extremely confused…he acted like we were best friends…he ask about the guy i was talking to, told me he was there for me (i’d been in a crappy mood), said how sorry he was about things, kept asking how i was doing, said he was glad i was doing good, and just random things he wanted to know about my current life…we kept this up for about a week and i just couldn’t take it anymore…so about 2 days ago i cussed him out and he hasn’t said anything since. i know it was the wrong thing to do i just couldn’t help it…he’s still keeping my stuff even though i’ve asked repeatidly for it back…he’s also said that all this was so hard on him too, and since we’ve broken up he’s friends with this really skanky girl who will have sex with everybody…i’m so confused…please help me, i desperately want him back.

so me and my ex broke up a couple days ago. it was only a month relationship. he told me that he doesnt like me that way anymore and that it was dying between us.
but the thing that confuses me is that, how all of a sudden can you stop liking somebody?

You know, I’m the girl who asked what a wink means, and the people here said he might be interested in me. Well, I never did what the people here advised me. When I’m near him, I don’t know what to do and I end up acting cold! So maybe he thought I don’t like him back and now he’s courting someone…and we’re not so close like before. We don’t usually talk nowadays…what do I do so he will know I like him too?

Me and my ex broke up a little over a year and a half ago. We had some minor issues that could of been worked out both times we tryed to date( they were different every time) and we had a rocky friendship up until about a month ago. It took us forever to find the balance where we would both stop talking about each other and both try to stop hurting each other. We have hung out a couple of times and the last time we were alone. I’m in the most difficult situation I’ve ever been in. We’ve been going out for almost 3 years now and basically living together for the greater part of that. Meet at 17 and were eachothers’ first girlfriend and boyfriend. Have been very much in love and that has never changed. The problem is, the relationship is really draining us both emotionally at the moment. I have some growing up to do, need to gain some independence for myself etc. And we’ve been having problems because of that, my boyfriend believing that I won’t be able to make the fundamental changes I need to while I’m in a relationship. He also needs to be able to see me in a different light. I kind of understand what he’s saying, but don’t want to breakup over it. I just really want to stay with him as I can’t imagine us not being together. This summer we won’t really be seeing eachother which will give me a chance to change, and next year we’re not living together, so is that not enough? Please help =( Thanks xXx
