I am an american citizen and my fiancee is a Mexican citizen. What is a fastest way for me to bring him back?

I am an american citizen and my fiancee is a Mexican citizen. What is a faster way for me to bring him back to the United States? Fiancee visa: bring him here to get married, or get married in Mexico? And if we get married in Mexico, Is it better/faster to apply here or in Mexico?
He was caught the first time he entered but he is already back in Mexico. We do have one child together, I don’t know if that helps our chances though.
Only serious answers, please.

I-129F for a fiancee….it still takes a LONG TIME. BTW same form if you’re married but you have to file another form along with it. There are fees involves. Don’t get married before he’s here, it screws up your taxes you wouldn’t believe how much i lost from that and doesn’t really speed up the process at all. Check out USCIS.gov

A child together proves a relationship so that’ll be easier to show evidence of.

It used to be the fiancee visa but the spousal visa takes about the same time now. Applying from the US is usually faster.

Honey, Im 80% sure that he doesn’t love you. He just wants you to marry him so he can become a us citizen quickly.

We have more than enough of them over here illegally already. Have you not considered going there to be with him?

K1 fiance visa is still faster unless Immigration has any records of him entering illegally or deportations.

go to mexico and be with him.. since he was caught once for crossing the border illegally you have a better chance of being with him in mexico..

It’s not going to make that much of a difference in processsing time whether you file a fiance petition or an immigrant visa petition. Of course since you’re not married, you could file a fiance petition for him tomorrow. You’ve got to be married first to file an immigrant petition. You won’t be able to file an immigrant petition in Mexico since you’re not a legal resident there. You’ll have to file in the US. You don’t mention how much time he spent illegally in the US, but if it was more than 6 months, he’s inelgibile for any visa for 3 years, 10 years if he’s been here illegally for over 12 months. So, he’ll need to file for a waiver of the ineligibility through USCIS. Fortunately for the two of you, there’s an office at the consulate in Ciudad Juarez where all immigrant and fiance visas are done. Of course, simply applying for a waiver is no guarantee he’ll get it, but if staying illegally is the only problem he has, chances are good he’ll get it. But he won’t be able to return legally until he gets the waiver and the visa. Check out uscis.gov for more information, and forms.

If he was already caught here before, that really hurts his chances of getting a visa on time, even with the long lines. He may be ineligable for one for 3 years. I wish more illegals would think about that before crossing.
